Ayutthaya Historical Park is situated around 80 km away from Bangkok city. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was the ancient capital of the Kingdom of Siam. Tourists can explore around the ruins of this ancient city. It was the capital of Siam Kingdom from 1351 till the Burmese army destroyed the city in 1767. The Ayutthaya Historical Park complex comprises of temples, palaces and statues. This historical park showcases the grand culture and heritage of the Siamese civilization.

How to Reach Ayutthaya Historical Park?

  • By Train: Take the train to Ayutthaya from Hua Lamphong Station in Bangkok. The time taken to reach Ayutthaya is about 1.5 to 2 hours. From the station, you can take the tuk-tuk or opt for a guided tour or rent a bicycle.
  • By Bus/Minivan: You can also reach Ayutthaya Historical Park by taking the bus or minivan from Mo Chit Bus Terminal in Bangkok which will take around 1.5 hours to reach.
  • By Car: For a comfortable experience, you can hire a car to Ayutthaya from Bangkok, it will take around 1.5 hours to reach.
