The Khao Phra Thaeo Wildlife Park is one of the must-visit tourist’s spots in Phuket as it provides some of the thrilling activities to indulge in. This national park is spread across an area of 23 sq km and is a protected area for exotic flora and wildlife like the wild boars and gibbons (it has the famous gibbon conservation project).

The park is opened daily from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM for the visitors to soak in the serene and peaceful ambiance.

The hiking routes lead to two waterfalls: Bang Pae and Tonsai waterfalls.

The national park is located about 20-25 kilometers from Phuket Town, taking about 40-45 minutes by car or taxi. Visitors typically use private transport to reach the park.
